Improve your recruitment technique - with our easy-to-follow hints and tips.

This article consists of three pages:

Page 1 - Hints and tips to help you improve your recruiting process.
Page 2 - Even more tips to you improve your recruiting process.
Page 3 - 5 great tips to help you build your network.

  1. Follow up ASAP!
Back to point number two:  Make them feel as if they are the only person in the world! Replying as soon as possible is the name of the game, even if it’s just to let them know that you have that you have received their message. Keeping in contact with them will keep you in their thoughts, which is what you want.

  2. Don’t make false promises!
Never make false promises. It’s that simple. Do it and your reputation will suffer.  No-one will want to do business with you. Don’t do it. Ever.

  3. Use real testimonials.
So you’ve treated every person you’ve meet like they’re number one and they are really happy with the service you’ve given them. Why not ask for a testimonial? If they really are happy with your service then they’ll be happy to put what they think onto paper for you. Be sure to ASK them if you can show their testimonial, and perhaps even their email address, to potential teachers. Don’t give out email addresses without the person’s permission.

  4. Be the first to respond to new resumes.
It’s often first come first served with ESL jobs, providing, of course, it’s the job for them. So if you contact teachers first and then answer any questions as soon as possible then why wouldn’t they go for your job offer?
In ESL Jobs offers a service, Jobs Alert, that sends you resumes as they appear online!

  5. Advertise your organisation.
It’s human nature to go with a well-known organisation over an unknown one. This could be for many reasons:
    1. A well-known organisation is more likely to be remembered than an unknown one.
    2. A well known organisation is usually more trusted. Unless they are well-known for all the wrong reasons.
    3. The more advertising you are doing, the busier you seem. Everyone wants to business with a success, which is doing lots of business.

  6. Stay online! This point is related to http://www.inesljobs.com. Look at the following picture:
    Stay Online!

Are there any ads that you are drawn to? Is it the ones with the green picture next to them? By being online, all of your ads will have this little attention grabber next to them! By staying online at inesljobs.com, you are improving your exposure!

On a final note, remember this:  word of mouth really spreads. If you do really great things for your ESL teacher, they will be extremely happy and on average, will tell one out of every ten people about what a great company you are.  If, on the other hand, you do a lousy job, lie, and don’t follow up on promises, they will tell an astounding two out of every three people they meet about what a bad company you are doing.
